Peypin d’Aigues

Peypin-d'Aigues is a French commune located in the department of Vaucluse, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region.

Like all the Luberon municipalities, tourism plays a role, directly or indirectly, in the local economy.

We can consider three main types of tourism in the Luberon. First of all, historical and cultural tourism which draws on the rich heritage of hilltop villages or festivals. Then, a recreational tourism which results in a significant development of guest rooms, hotels and seasonal rentals, by a significant concentration of swimming pools and by activities such as Provençal markets. Finally, green tourism that takes advantage of the many hiking trails and the protected environment offered by the Luberon and its surroundings31.
