Berrias is a small farming village where it's pleasant to wander through the cool limestone streets until you come to the Romanesque church, fountains and discreet castle.
A stone's throw away is the Bois de Païolive, a maze of strangely shaped limestone rocks surrounded by green and white oaks.
Also worth a visit are the Gorges de Chassezac, classified as a Sensitive Natural Area and Natura 2000.
