Here you can taste the wines of Châteauneuf du Pape in an extraordinary setting: centuries-old cellars carved out of the rock. The excavation work created five successive, vaulted rooms covering 200 m². The last room holds two 30-hectolitre vats of Gallo-Roman origins. Built out of the limestone, the cellars have all the right conditions for storing wine: a constant temperature and natural ventilation for regulating the hygrometry.
The cellar offers for sale more than 150 types of Châteauneuf white and red wines and Côtes du Rhône wines. Each day, we choose 3 or 4 wines for our visitors to taste. The wines are presented according to their age and quality by our sommelier.
The individual tastings are free during the cellar's opening hours.
