Our campsite is situated in the heart of a wooded and flowering park on Barthelasse Island in Avignon, with a spectacular view of the Avignon Bridge and the Popes' Palace. You can reach the city centre directly thanks to a free river ferry that leaves from the campsite.

On the campsite: swimming pool, snack-bar, restaurant, grocery store, tennis courts, bicycle rentals and many activities in July and August for the old and young alike.

You are in the perfect place for visiting the theatre capital of France!

Rental of classic bicycles

Barthelasse Island is an extraordinary place for cycling. Classed among the biggest river islands in Europe, it comprises 700 hectares of an exceptional flora and fauna. You will be able to observe nesting birds, rabbits, coypus and many other mammals such as beavers, hedgehogs, foxes... The national cycling route from Lake Geneva to the sea crosses Barthelasse Island.
